There is a Santa in all of us.
The Lasell College Second Step Club has a wish list from kids whose parents cannot afford to buy them Christmas presents. It is very easy, you take as many wishes as you want and bring them back by December 10th. The ages range from 1 to 17 years old I was looking at the board and they are all basic things. You will not even miss a meal if you decided to help because they range from gloves, to socks.
But there is one 13 year old who caught my attention, she wants lip gloss. You get a chance to write to Santa and she asked for lip gloss. I don’t think anyone wants to see how long my wish list was when I was 13 years old. As a person who has more than enough lip glosses (because they disappear when you need them and reappear when you but another one ….You know how these things go) I will travel back and forth to the North Pole to make sure this girl gets her lip gloss. I first got my pair of heels when I was 13 and I remember waking up in the middle of the night to walk in them…….this girl needs her lip gloss.
If you are at Lasell College, please stop by Klingbeil House (right across from the campus center) to see if there is any kid’s Christmas wish you can make come true, you will also be making mine because that is my Christmas wish.
