Happy New Year!!! I think that it now official that we survived the mayan apocalypse. Now that we are survivors and we are in a new year, I thought that it is only right that I have a few resolutions. So here they are.
Live a healthy lifestyle
This year, I have made a resolution to be a little bit healthier. Not because I have to but just because I want to and I think it will be good for me. No more over snacking. I know that I usually have a busy schedule that it leads me to depend on unhealthy foods, but I will work on it. I will try to go to the gym twice…okay maybe once a week. I realized that it is important to be careful of what I put into my body. My lesson from Madame Chic by Jennifer L Scott is helping with controlling my snacking. I think I can do this.
Attend more fashion events
I know that the Boston Fashion industry seems like it is nonexistent. One thing I realized last year (seems like it was only a second ago) is that the Boston fashion industry is bigger than I thought. I plan on attending more fashion events and making more connections.
Take more (fashion) risks.
A great man once said that “be the change you want to see in the world”. This year, I will be the change I want to see in my closet. I would love to break out of my shell. My style tends to be a little conservative and I have been playing it safe in 2012 but this year, I plan on switching it up a bit especially when it comes to my hair. Since it is short now, I don’t see what is stopping me from having fun with it.
I no longer have time to read which is sad. But I do love reading- Hello I read the fifty shades trilogy in 2 weeks. On a more serious note, I’m planning on taking a day off from the internet ( might need luck). I think I will do my reading (or even go to the gym) Suggestions are welcome; I’m interested in all kinds of reading.
After my first year blogging and all the love and support I have been getting, I have some huge plans for my runway. I want to surpass the amount of posts I published in 2012. Expand the topics I write about and more events. I want to cover street style. I want to keep you my readers informed in all of the latest trends and give you more fashion/ lifestyle inspiration. Anything, you name it, I want more of it on my runway.

I do tend to let even the smallest things get to me. We all go through it. But 2012 taught me that it is easier to just be me, make my own decisions not based on what other people are saying. I want to be more independent, accept and just love myself. The older I grow, the more I learn to love and accept myself….flaws and all. I want to laugh more, love more and stop putting things off for last minute.
2012 was more than I thought it would be. I have a feeling that this year is going to be better. You are on my runway; feel free to join me on some of my resolutions. What are some of your resolutions?
