REGINAH'S RUNWAY NEWS BREAKDOWN: Princess Diana's dresses auctioned off

Ten dresses that belonged to the late Diana, Princess of Wales went up for about $1,212,240.00 at the Kerry Taylor auction in London earlier this week. The top dress was the Victor Edelstein midnight blue velvet gown that she wore at the State dinner where she danced with John Travolta. According to Vogue.com, it was bought for $364,296.00 by a British man who wanted to cheer up his wife. Now not even a bad hair day will ruin her mood. The other two top dresses which both sold for $163,933.00 were Catherine Walker gowns, one was worn by the princess in 1977 for a Vanity Fair shoot taken by Mario Testino and the other one was worn for a State visit to Australia and to the premiere of Back To The Future in 1985. If I would have any of Princess Diana’s dresses, it would have to be this Christina Stambolian LBD she wore in 1994 to a Serpentine Gallery benefit.
