To my favorite bag: Life moves on and so should we.

Letting things go is never easy. It doesn't matter what it is; a friend, a boyfriend, your favorite bag, a man….Yeah I have 99 problems but a man ain't one. Hit me! What I’m trying to say is that I hate change, I hate letting things go but that is life. Like 2 Pac once said “You can spend minutes, hours, days, weeks, or even months over-analyzing a situation; trying to put the pieces together, justifying what would've  would've happened... or you can just leave the pieces on the floor and move the fuck on.” So after looking at my favorite bag for about 20 minutes, I decided to move on.

I don’t think I am being materialistic. I think we all have that one thing that we do not want to let go. It was comfortable; I got it at a good price at Urban Outfitters. It was my High school graduation gift to myself. Perhaps that is why I was attached to it.

Think of the things you do not want to let go, there has to be something. I have a friend who will not let go of his shoes because “He loves them so much” – I am afraid that if I drop any names, I will have one less bag and a friend at the same time. Although, I have a picture. But I know time will come when he has to let it go and move on, he is just not ready to let go of his shoes. We all have our reasons.

It might be the first world problems of the first world problems but I think the way I’m feeling is absolutely fine and besides, I get to buy another bag. I have never been the girl to say no to retail therapy. Do you have anything that you have to let go? Then “leave the pieces on the floor and move the fuck on”. That is the beauty of life. But before you do that, share with my runway.
