Does fashion need more than retail therapy?

I will go Olivia Pope on anything on my runway except death. It’s just one of those things, every time I hear about death ( especially suicides)  I try to dodge it the same way Naomi Campbell would sidestep  shit in her Louboutins .  Anyways, has anyone else  noticed the repeated suicides in the fashion industry? Is fashion just another one of a thousand ways to die.

In 2007, Isabella Blow who was an English style icon committed suicide after numerous attempts.  She was famous for spotting and nurturing young designers like Alexander McQueen who took away his life with his favorite belt.
In 2008, Russian model Ruslana Korshunova jumped to her death from her Manhattan apartment. She was only 21 yrs old.

And the breaking news of  L’Wren Scott who  was found dead in her Manhattan apartment earlier this week. Which is really sad because I feel like we were to see more of her. I had not had enough of Alexander McQueen either. I know that being in the fashion industry is high pressure. The pressure can get too much depending on what ladder you are stepping on and what shoes you are wearing. Is suicide in the fashion industry something that we need to pay more attention too?
Is suicide in the fashion industry something that we need to pay more attention too? I think that fashion needs more than retail therapy. I hope you are in very comfortable shoes.
