La mode des nouvelles: Karl Lagerfeld opens men’s store in Paris.

For some reason, the pace on my runway nowadays is absolute turtle style. While that is in the works of being fixed, Karl Lagerfeld opened a men’s store in Paris and you even did not know about it.

The store opened this October and it is dedicated to the men’s wear division of his fashion house. The mood of the store is kept in neutral tones and roughly sits on 1,430 square-foot units in the French Capital.

The store showcases the classic tailored Lagerfeld label while currently representing 20 percent of the business. The prices range from $140 for a T shirt to $2,568 for a leather and fur winter coat with sizes from XS to XXXL.

According to WWD, the new store is decorated with the designer’s sketches, photographs and contour of his face shining from the wall in bright and neon. For accessories, he store has seven watches (because 7 is his lucky number), small leather goods, perfume, accessories and souvenirs for your boo.

Since a few things are sexier than a man who reads, shoppers can browse a selection of book including “TheWorld According to Karl” among others.

This sounds like he kind of store you would find the love of your life in after you are done splurging in Chanel. I think this is a very handsome idea. I would love to see Lagerfeld work with retail stores preferably H&M.  His store sounds like an H&M male target customer with money to spend.
