Fashion News Breakdown: Alexander McQueen’s Savage Beauty exhibition and Magic Mike is back to the grind.

To this day, McQueen’s death has not gotten easier on my runway. Maybe because he is the guy who made me make a commitment to fashion. So in a way, he hold a special place. There was an exhibit in his honor right after his death but in March; it is making its way back home- London.

The Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty exhibition will be at the Victoria & Albert Museum this March. Vogue gained exclusive access; some of his pieces were photographed. We are familiar with most of the pieces in this exhibition but they were recaptured by Tim Walker and styles by Kate Phelan for the upcoming issue.

The exhibition is going to last longer than it was intended too because of the public high demand. It is going to be up until around August 2nd.  The museum put 50,000 more tickets on sale last year. You might need luck because the tickets have been selling since 2014. McQueen fans are expected from every continent, 57 countries with most of them coming from America. I hope that he can feel the love and how deeply the fashion industry misses him and his talent.

The boys are back. This is technically not fashion news but it can be if we want it to be. Warner Bros, Pictures just released a teaser trailer for Magic Mike and but Channing Tatum looks bigger and back to the grind. If this doesn’t make your hump day less humpy then come back to Reginah’s Runway tomorrow. But this is working for now. Come Backstage with me and see more of McQueen’s work.
