Summer Drinks: One tequila, two tequila, baequila

Hi babes.

Me and bae here. And no, not "bae" like "boyfriend" but "bae" like my favorite alcoholic drink: tequila. I know, I know. Tequila scares most people but it is most definitely my favorite. Nothing beats a bikini, sunshine, and some tequila. So in honor of summer and sunshine I am going to give you three different ways to get your tequila on. I figured we would stray from the typical margarita, tequila sunrise and salt and lime shot.

The first of three is a spin on the traditional margarita--its watermelon. This margarita is frozen watermelon, sugar, lime, tequila, and Triple Sec topped off with a little salt and chili powder. Sweet and spicy, just like us girls, huh?

Recipe number two is called a Paloma Brava. This is the turnt up version of a Paloma-a typical tequila drink. This includes a reposado tequila, lime juice, orange juice, grapefruit juice, grapefruit soda, and agave. Refreshing with a kick-my fav.

The third drink is for those who are a little more adventurous in their drink-ventures. If you hadn't noticed, each drink is slightly more difficult than the last. This last one is an Orange Strawberry Tequila Fizz. We have strawberries, orange, lemon, lime, organic cane sugar, agave, tequila and sparkling water. You have to muddle the fruits a bit so if you're up for the challenge, I highly recommend it. This drink just screams summer to me.
